Alright, the last post got epicly f'd up, but lets continue:

Berserker: I use one of these puppies, and I love mine! Out of it's shell, a boomsticked berserker is easy to use with its flap trigger set up, and has incredible range, accuracy, and nice rate of fire too. In the shell, it has a 20 shot springer, what more could you want?

Big Blast:
Absurd range, comfy shells, and nice range make BBBB's great primaries. However, Big Blasts have poorer triggers than berserkers, and it is often harder to fire off a shot. I also recommend you keep yours in its shell, as they are harder to fire out-of-shell, great blasters none the less though!

Mega Missile:
These guys are compact, and with a pump replacement are contenders with any other airgun, another excellent single shot blaster.

I'll be back with more in a while, adios for now.

The best primaries and secondaries on the market

Alrighty nooblets, gather round, cuz uncle Hippo's gonna tell you what's what in the world of Nerf!

Big Bad Bow
BBB's are cheap, and effective primaries that are prized for their springs and plunger tubes, and their easy to mod as well. BBB's are up in the category of "single shot, high powered springer", and are easy to use as well, shell 20 bucks out to get one!

Pump Action Shotgun:
Impressive range, imposing look, and obese plunger tubes make PAS's nasty contenders at wars because of this. I know many who rely on a PAS as their primary, and they make good ones, just make sure to reinforce it!

Quad Shots:

The quad shot is the answer to MAG 7's banning of the doomsayer, with 8 less shots of course, but it is a shotgun right? Anyhow, Quadshots are insanely popular thanks to price, range, and RoF thanks to rear loading ports. I simply don't use one thanks to their finicky catches, but pumps are still nice.

Longshot:

Clips, nice range, and a nice shell, how can you go wrong? Terrible accuracy for the most part, and finicky parts plague longshots, as they are hard to mod, and require extensive work, but when they get that work, LS's are scary. The LS is the only effective clipped blaster that's been produced, as they are extremely popular primaries

BAFF 4

Well, yesterday I went to my first nerf war, BAFF 4, absolutely amazing:

The Nerfers:
>Me: I realized that I'm pretty good at HvZ, and by the way, pistol splats rule!
>My Guest: He took a shot to the chest in 3 way CTF, but endured later on with the magstrike he got from flipoffacliff.
>Jman: He's friendly, dead accurate and an enduring Human in HvZ.
>Blue: This guy is devastating with a PETG'd SM15K,m and sold me my now beloved pistol splat and crazy 2K
>Just Some Bob: We made a great team during the start of HvZ, and went into CTF using a stock pistol splat.
>JakeJagan: He was great during CTF, and was devastating with a zombie raider.
>Flipoffacliff: With a gazillion guns, and a beefed out decimator, this guy made a tough CTF player.

The Guns:
>My Longshot: I used it during the start of CTF, It was nice, but I soon ran out of ammo, and had forgotten the spare clip my friend had given me, but again, I liked it a lot.
>My Disk Shot: With a micr accepting crayola, my disk shot was wildly inaccurate, I soon switched weapons after, I think I might rebarrel it.
>My guest's Magstrike: Modded by Flipoffacliff, my guest really did well in the later stages of CTF, and did great all through HvZ with this.
>Jman's Longshot: Holy crap, this thing was amazing, it had a pump action shotgun integrated into it! It was also dead accurate.
>Blues SM15K: This gun was very versatile, it was accurate, and had a mean rate of fire.
>Flipoffacliffs Ancient lupara thing: It didn't have a name, but it was CPVC'd, pump action, and fired to shots, I did amazingly with it during HvZ.

I had an amazing time, there's more to come though!

Nerfers, modders, and collectors

Okay, there are 3 kinds of nerfers I'll discuss:

Modders: These guys are the people constantly chugging out mods, tinkering, and generally not warring, they often can do pretty great things, but again, arent very active in using their guns.

Nerfers: These guys are very active in warring, and are prominent in the NIC. They might not always have the most amazing or ingenious mods, but are at the core of the hobby, doing it.

Collectors: These guys kinda annoy me, with a few exceptions, people who collect blasters to categorize them and log them for the NIC are great, but people who see that someone modded a supertech 9000 and bark at the modder, should just leave it be, I once thought it was a good idea to leave old guns stock, but look at the Supermaxx series! The worst of these people will just rant and yell about modded guns they don't own, or don't have any business in, but again, there are exceptions.

The airsoft rant

OK, I am absolutely fed up with 10 year old kids on youtube saying that airsoft is better than nerf, my points:

1. Why are they looking up nerf videos in the first place? Unless they have a secret passion for nerf and don't want to admit it, then they should just stick to things related to their sport.
2. A common point raised by Air-softers is "Nerf doesn't even hurt", two words: Singled titan, can your M4 replica draw blood? No? That's what I thought, moving on.
3. "Nerf guns shoot 2 feet" Your mini air-soft Semi-auto AK shoots 15, My modded longshot gets 50 feet flat. Also, a good air-soft pistol gets around 70 feet, a well modded nite-finder can get the same ranges, moving on.
4. Air-softers often compare stock nerf guns to their weapons, a modded nerf gun can easily get similar ranges to an air soft gun.
5. An Airsoft gun shoots a projectile that's slightly smaller than a pea, a nerf gun shoots a foam slug, you see where I'm going? An Airsoft springer would have trouble firing a nerf dart, and a nerf springer would be able to exceed the Airsoft guns original ranges with a BB with ease.
6. "Yeah, but us airsofter's can mod guns too" Really? A 14 year old is going to open up a 600$ Thompson replica? Good luck, I'm positive that people mod BB guns, but really, there's simply too much at stake.
7. Have we nerfers attacked airsofters? No! I'm just stating my points here, I'm not saying that airsoft sucks, I'm simply raising some points, if you like to play airsoft and can be responsible about it, please, be my guest and play your game.
8. But why not just play airsoft? We nerf because it's cheap, customizable, and requires a creative and skillful mindset.
Well, thats all folks, so let the nerfers nerf, and the airsofters airsoft, as long as there's no real conflict, we'll be fine.
